Dr. George Seremetis is a board-certified urologist with a special interest in spina bifida and subspecialty certification in pediatric urology. He received his undergraduate degree at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. He also earned dual Master's degrees in biostatistics and physiology at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He also earned his medical degree at Georgetown University. Following two years of general surgery training at Dartmouth University in Hanover, New Hampshire, he joined the International MedCorp and spent a year in Pakistan. Dr. Seremetis completed a urologic surgery residency at Dartmouth University and an advanced training fellowship in pediatric urology at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago (Northwestern University).

Dr. Seremetis has held many leadership positions at Dell Children’s Medical Center, including head of the pediatric ethics committee, chief of surgery and chief of staff. He is also active in Peer Review for the hospital. He is the urology director for the spina bifida clinic.

Dr. Seremetis is an avid hiker and outdoorsman. He lives in Austin and has three children. He also enjoys tennis and traveling the world. He is one of the founding members of the Dell Children’s Surgical Global Surgical Outreach medical mission group, now called Operation Kid Docs (OKD).
