Telemedicine allows you to discuss symptoms, medical issues and more with a health care provider in real-time using a computer, iPad or phone to connect with your provider. Prior to your child's first visit, the provider and medical assistant will prepare the chart and gather all pertinent reports and records. The provider will take the time to review them before your visit. Using telemedicine, you can receive a diagnosis, learn your treatment options and make a treatment plan.

On this website, click the provider your child is scheduled with and scroll to the Start a Virtual Visit button. Click the link and enter your child's name in the text box and click Check In. You will be in the provider's virtual "waiting room." Please arrive in the virtual waiting room 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Your provider will connect with you at the appropriate time.

Yes, during this time, most telemedicine visits are covered by health insurance, and through the visit, you and your provider will create a treatment plan for your child. In some cases, the provider may ask you to help with the examination of your child (obtain the child’s current weight or look at specific areas of the body, for example). Your provider may recommend a future in-person visit for examination or testing in some cases.
