Louis Mizell, M.D.

About

Louis Mizell, M.D., has almost 40 years of experience in pediatric gastroenterology. Dr. Mizell obtained his medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1979. Following graduation, he joined the United States Air Force, where he completed a two-year pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Utah. After 20 years in the Air Force, he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dr. Mizell works directly with patients to find a healing resource for gastroenterology, hepatology and nutritional issues in children ages 0-19. He is excited to be a part of the team at Pediatrix Specialty Care of Utah and will see patients at the Lone Peak, Ogden and Timpanogos clinics. Dr. Mizell also has privileges at Primary Children's Hospital’s downtown and Riverton locations.
