About

Amanda Ramos Hodge is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner. She received her undergraduate degree at Southwest Texas State University and her Bachelor of Science in nursing at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (UTMB). She was previously a PANDA nurse (surgical recovery room nurse) at the Children’s Hospital of Austin. She has also worked as a home health nurse, labor and delivery nurse, and as a nurse in the ICU and surgical floor.

Amanda earned her Master’s of Science in nursing and certification as a pediatric nurse practitioner at The University of Texas at Austin. Amanda's expertise is in evaluating and treating children with abnormal voiding behaviors such as daytime and nighttime wetting, recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs), urinary frequency and painful urination. She manages the practice’s dysfunctional voiding clinic.

Amanda loves spending time outdoors, gardening, camping and running. Mostly, she loves spending time with her husband, children and their long-haired miniature dachshund.
