Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology

Daniel Gustkey, D.O., graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff with a bachelor’s degree in biology before earning a Doctor of Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences - College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, Lebanon, Oregon. He continued to hone his care of children through residencies at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center (pediatrics) and Phoenix Children’s Hospital (child neurology). In addition, Dr. Gustkey completed a fellowship in pediatric epilepsy at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Board-certified in neurology, Dr. Gustkey’s approach to patient care is to provide families with the appropriate tools and information to make the best decisions for their children. He is an expert in diagnosing and treating seizures and epilepsy and also has an interest in sports neurology and working with young athletes.

Dr. Gustkey is a member of the Child Neurology Society, American Epilepsy Society and American Academy of Neurology. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and going to sporting events, spending time with his family and traveling, especially to London, his favorite city.
