About

Julie is an inpatient nurse practitioner. She graduated from Regis University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and began her nursing career in a pediatric setting. Women’s care became her passion, and she transitioned to work as a nurse in high-risk obstetrics for 12 years. Inspired to further her education, she attended the University of Colorado, where she obtained a Master of Science, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Midwife in 2016. Julie worked as a Certified Nurse Midwife for three years. In 2020, she returned to the high-risk obstetrics setting as an inpatient nurse practitioner. Since 2007, Julie has assisted investigators conducting research in the perinatal area.

Julie is dedicated to caring for pregnant women. She believes that art and science come together to provide care that is sensitive to the needs of women and families, as well as grounded in scientific knowledge.

She was raised on a ranch in Texas but loves living, working, and playing in colorful Colorado. Julie has a husband, three children, and a cute dog named Riley.
