Dr. Jeffrey Donohoe is proud to serve Palm Beach County in the field of pediatric urology. A native New Yorker, he is an alumnus of Bronx High School of Science in New York. He went on to graduate from Queens College with an undergraduate degree in Biology. He completed his medical degree at the New York Medical College.

Dr. Donohoe completed his Urologic Surgery Residency training at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn. He then completed a Pediatric Urology fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. Dr. Donohoe started his career as a staff Pediatric Urologist and Associate Professor of Surgery at Children’s Hospital of Georgia and Medical College of Georgia. His passion for pediatric urology was exemplified via his teaching of the residents at the Medical College of Georgia. He won the exemplary teaching award three years in a row—2009, 2010 and 2011. In recognition of his academic achievements, he was elected a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in 2012.

His career then took him to continue his practice at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute and the Lerner College of Medicine for the past seven years. He continued to excel at the Urology Department there, which has been ranked the number 1 or 2 in the nation for the past 21 years. He continued to excel at The Cleveland Clinic, attaining a perfect score for teaching faculty three years in a row and was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2019. His passion for his career is also exemplified in his care for his patients. He is one of the rare physicians to maintain a 5/5 patient care rating for the past seven years at the clinic—a perfect score! He received the Caregiver Award in 2019.

His accolades include but are not limited to receiving the Ferdinand Valentine Grant in 2003 and the Society of Pediatric Urology Grant in 2004. He has active memberships in Alpha Omega Alpha, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Society of Pediatric Urology and the American Urological Association. He has received numerous commendations for teaching and patient care, some of which are mentioned above. He has authored several publications in peer-reviewed journals on topics such as genitourinary tumors, posterior urethral valves, ureteropelvic junction obstruction and bladder dysfunction. Given his expertise, he has been asked to speak and present at conferences all over the world.

While Dr. Donohoe is well versed in all aspects of pediatric urology, he has a special interest in children with congenital anomalies of the kidneys and ureters, undescended testes and inguinal hernias, genitourinary tumors, penile/urethral anomalies (like hypospadias) and urolithiasis. Dr. Donohoe is available for consultation in patients with voiding abnormalities, expecting mothers whose fetuses have hydronephrosis and patients who have sustained urogenital trauma.
