Dr. Giang Truong graduated from the University of California, Irvine – College of Medicine. She finished her pediatric residency and neonatal/perinatal medicine fellowship at Loma Linda University. After fellowship training, she remained as faculty at Loma Linda University from 2011-2019, serving as a quality improvement director and clinical director. She researched the areas of vasodilatation in response to nitrite; delayed cord clamping and milking of the umbilical cord; and neonatal pain control using oral sucrose and dextrose solutions.

Dr. Truong moved with her family to Pensacola, Florida, in 2019. She held the medical director position of the NICU at Ascension Sacred Heart in Emerald Coast from 2020-2021 and is currently the assistant medical director of the NICU at the Studer Family Children’s Hospital in Pensacola.
