Dr. Quinones is board certified in pediatric cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics. He attended medical school at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. Dr. Quinones completed his residency training at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and fellowship training at Northwestern University Medical Center/Laurie Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Quinones is a member of the American College of Cardiology, Harris County Medical Society, Harris County Pediatric Society and the Hispanic American Medical Association of Houston. He has been recognized with Houstonia Magazine's Top Doctors Award in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020. He was also named one of the Top Doctors in the Chicago-metro area in 2001 and 2002, Consumer Research Council Americas Top Cardiologists for 2006, Stanford’s Who’s Who 2010—Leading Physicians of the World and the International Association of Pediatrics Leading Physicians of the World.
Dr. Quinones' clicinal interests include non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, and clinical cardiology. Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Quinones holds a fouth-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is an avid road cyclist with Space City Cycling Club.
