Kimberly Porter, NNP

About

Kimberly Porter graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 1993 where she completed her BSN and began her nursing career in the NICU at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital. During her career as a NICU nurse, she also functioned as a transport nurse for neonatal and pediatric patients. From 2000-2001, Kim expanded her horizons by working as a traveling nurse in the NICU at Phoenix Children's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ; at UCSD in San Diego, CA; and at UNC in Chapel Hill, NC. In 2011, Kim began graduate school at the University of South Alabama and graduated in 2013 with her MSN degree. She began working as a neonatal nurse practitioner for Pediatrix Medical Group in 2015 at Studer Family Children's Hospital and continues to pursue her passion of caring for babies.
