Minal Patel, M.D., is a board-certified pediatrician specializing in sleep medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree and completed internship training at Saurashtra University, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Medical College. She also completed her pediatric residency and sleep medicine fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Before joining Pediatrix Specialty Care of Austin, Dr. Patel was the program director of the sleep medicine fellowship and assistant professor of sleep medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Dr. Patel is passionate about helping children and their parents sleep better and promoting the overall well-being of children. She understands that early diagnosis and treatment can improve many issues for children with sleeping difficulties, including their behavior, memory, academic functioning, mood and long-term health.

A diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Pediatrics and Association of American Medical Colleges, Dr. Patel is committed to providing friendly and compassionate care to her patients and their families. She speaks English, Gujarati and Hindi and enjoys spending time with her spouse and family.
