About

Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, where she completed medical school, Dr. Narang was the first in her country to match into an obstetrics and gynecology residency in the United States in over 20 years. She is an American board-certified OBGYN whose first-hand experience in providing care for pregnant patients in both developing countries and resource-rich environments has committed her to provide the best care to women from all walks of life.

During her maternal-fetal medicine fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic, she excelled academically, contributed meaningfully to several peer-reviewed publications and achieved her academic rank of Assistant Professor within the first 18 months of her training. Her research interests are focused on maternal complications in pregnancy, with a special interest in multifetal gestations (twin pregnancies) and cancer in pregnancy. She was awarded the author with the highest cited publication in Mayo Clinic Proceedings, an internationally recognized medical journal.

In addition to her clinical and academic interests and accomplishments, Dr. Narang is passionate about resident education. She is humbled to have been recognized for her efforts with several teaching awards during her career.

On a personal level, Dr. Narang enjoys practicing mindfulness and intentionally integrates this into the care she provides to all her patients.

"Pregnancy is such an important milestone in a woman’s life, and it is not always an easy one. I am passionate about providing compassionate and evidence-based care to help pregnant women and their families navigate the challenges and medical complexities they face on this journey and to provide them with the most meaningful and healthy outcome for both mother and child."
