About

Dr. Vy Mai received her undergraduate degree from Oregon State University and her doctor of optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She is glaucoma certified and has a great interest in myopia (nearsightedness) management methods such as using soft multifocal contact lenses or hard gas-permeable overnight contact lenses (orthokeratology) that temporarily reshape the front surface of the eye (cornea). Dr. Mai is passionate about myopia, an optical condition that affects millions of people around the world.

Active in the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control, Dr. Mai has been practicing since 2014 and has extensive experience with patients from all walks of life, diagnosing and managing cataract, diabetic retinopathy, retinal diseases such as choroidal nevus and retinal detachment. She sees children ages four and older for routine and medical care. When she's not working, she enjoys baking and cooking for her husband and daughter.
