Lori Day, M.D.

About

Dr. Day is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She attended medical school at Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine. Dr. Day completed residency and fellowship training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Dr. Day is a member of the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. She has been recognized by the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) with the Excellence in Resident Teaching Award and received the House Staff Council Outstanding Educator Award from the University of Iowa. Dr. Day’s clinical interests include maternal diabetes, fetal anomalies and fetal therapy, periviable care and preterm birth, quality and safety.

Dr. Day is married with two school-aged children. She grew up in southwestern Michigan and is very passionate about improving care delivery in northern Indiana and southwestern Michigan. When not working, Dr. Day loves to spend her free time at the lake in the summer.
