About
Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed specializes in neonatology. Dr. Ahmed earned his medical degree from Bolan Medical College in Balochistan, Pakistan. Following this, he completed a residency program at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, N.J., and a fellowship at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa. His clinical interests include infant nutrition, necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) and bronchopulmonary dysplasia.
In 2019, he was honored with the Young Investigators Awards at Penn State Medical Center. Dr. Ahmed currently leads the Dysphagia and NEC committees for the practice.
