ASTHMA

If your child has asthma, you should know about the best treatments for short-term relief and long-term control. Pediatrix Urgent Care specializes in pediatric asthma and respiratory illnesses treatment.

FRACTURES

If your child has a bone fracture and you are looking for a qualified pediatrician who can provide compassionate, high-quality care when you need it most, trust the physicians at Pediatrix Urgent Care.

CELLULITIS

Cellulitis is an infection of the skin. It is caused by bacteria - usually streptococcus or staphylococcus. These bacteria live on the skin and may enter an area of broken skin, causing pain, swelling, warmth and redness.

LACERATIONS

Laceration refers to a skin wound. If your child has a cut or tear in the skin, you may need a Laceration Repair. We provide laceration repair services.

SINUS INFECTION

Your child’s sinuses are not fully developed until late in the teen years. Like sinusitis in adults, pediatric sinusitis can be difficult to diagnose because the symptoms may be caused by other problems, such as a viral illness or allergy.

STREP THROAT

Your child may have signs of strep throat. We will test your child for strep and determine if symptoms relate to strep or other causes of a sore throat.

We know life doesn’t keep a 9 to 5 schedule, and neither do we. Our parent-friendly hours mean we’re open late, on weekends and even on holidays.

Telemedicine

Telemedicine pediatrician visits offer professional and convenient pediatric virtual care across Florida from the comfort of your home. This should be used for non-emergency situations

Laboratory Services

The on-site medical laboratory within our clinics allows our highly trained physicians to carry out all necessary pediatric tests to reach an accurate diagnosis.

Radiology Services

Pediatrix Urgent Care is equipped with a state-of-the-art in-house X-ray machine. Each clinic is staffed with a pediatric tech radiologist to read and interpret the images to confirm a diagnosis.

COVID-19 Testing

We offer Rapid and PCR COVID-19 testing to our pediatric patients from Newborn to 21 years and parents who bring their child in for Covid-19 testing.

STD Testing for Teens

We actively try to combat the stigma revolving around STDs, and offer discrete and affordable STD testing for teens.
