Dr. Kashyap joined Pediatric Cardiology Associates in 2014 after completing her fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the University Of Tennessee Health Science Center. She completed her residency at Florida State University and medical school in India, graduating magna cum laude. She is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology and enjoys all aspects of pediatric cardiology including inpatient and outpatient care. Dr. Kashyap developed a strong interest in pulmonary hypertension during her fellowship training. She continues to have a special interest and expertise in the treatment of this complex disease. Her research involving fluid hemodynamics and post-operative outcomes in single ventricle patients has been presented at national and international conferences. She also has interest in non-invasive imaging and adults with congenital heart disease. She strives to continue taking care of children with congenital heart defects as they grow into adulthood. She enjoys serving the community and routinely services outreach clinics near San Antonio. Prior to relocating to the United States, Dr. Kashyap was a Medical Officer with the Indian Armed Forces (IAF) achieving the rank of squadron leader. During her time with the IAF she had the opportunity to service the underserved areas in India, in addition to military personnel and their families.

Dr. Kashyap is married to a computer software engineer who works as a senior network solutions engineer and integration lead. They love spending time with their two adorable children enjoying all the indoor and outdoor activities San Antonio has to offer, along with arts/crafts, reading, and cooking together at home. Football season finds them rooting for the Kansas Chiefs and Chicago Bears.
