A native of Tallahassee, Florida, Carli Wells completed her undergraduate studies in exercise physiology and psychology at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. She then earned a Master of Clinical Medical Science from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, and certification as a physician assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Aside from her ability to diagnose and treat pediatric, congenital and acquired conditions, Carli also assists Dr. Stelnicki in the operating room. She works in medical, cosmetic, surgical and pediatric dermatology as well as urgent care.
During her time at Barry University, Carli had a leading role in establishing Barry's physician assistant program in the United States Virgin Islands, where there is a great need for mid-level practitioners. She currently serves as adjunct clinical faculty for Barry University as a preceptor to PA students.
