Rita Sharshiner, M.D.

About

Dr. Sharshiner completed medical school and residency at the University of Utah, followed by a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Oregon Health and Science University. After fellowship, she returned to Salt Lake City to be closer to family and enjoy the great quality of life that Utah offers. Her clinical interests include prenatal genetics, fetal ultrasound, autoimmune disease in pregnancy and maternal cardiac disease.

In her free time, Dr. Sharshiner enjoys swimming, reading, watching movies, trying new food and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

I believe that individualized care, clear communication and informed-decision making are the cornerstones of a healthy physician-patient relationship, and I strive to provide evidence-based and compassionate care for all women and their families.”
