John LaNoue, M.D.

About

Dr. John LaNoue, board certified in pediatric surgery, has more than 20 years of experience. He received his medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine in Bryan and completed an internship and residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He also completed a fellowship in surgical critical care at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and became an attending surgeon in the burn, trauma and critical care division. He then completed a pediatric surgical fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Cincinnati before joining Pediatric Surgical Associates in 2003. He has been with Pediatric Surgical Associates for more than 15 years.

Dr. LaNoue was raised in rural Tennessee. He moved to Texas after receiving a scholarship to Baylor University in Waco for undergraduate studies where he majored in religion. He met his wife, Deirdre, during his junior year. She received a doctorate in religion from Baylor University. Together they enjoy traveling internationally and learning new languages. Dr. LaNoue is fluent in German.
