Dr. Jason Garnreiter is a pediatric electrophysiologist who received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s in Cleveland. Before going into practice, Dr. Garnreiter completed two fellowship programs in pediatric cardiology and pediatric electrophysiology at the University of Utah Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Garnreiter is board certified in pediatric electrophysiology at the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners and pediatric cardiology at the American Board of Pediatrics.
He has expertise in caring for patients with heart rhythm disorders, including those with supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) and Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome. He also treats individuals with inherited arrhythmia syndromes, including long QT syndrome, Brugada syndrome and catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT).
Dr. Garnreiter is experienced in the implantation of cardiac devices, including pacemakers, defibrillators (ICDs) and cardiac monitors. He performs ablation procedures for patients with various heart rhythm disorders, most of which are achieved with no X-ray or radiation exposure to the patient.
In addition to receiving several prestigious honors and awards, Dr. Garnreiter has given numerous didactic lectures and written myriad medical abstracts and manuscripts. He is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society and Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society (PACES).
