Dr. Friedman, a New York native, graduated from the Tri-Institutional MD-PhD program in New York City, earning her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and her doctorate in molecular biology from Weill Cornell Graduate School. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. She then moved to the West Coast, where she completed her fellowship training in pediatric cardiology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She practiced for several years back near her hometown in New Jersey before deciding to forsake the snowy winters and move to Florida, joining Pediatrix Cardiology group in 2014.

Dr. Friedman loves all aspects of clinical pediatric cardiology and treasures the relationships she develops with her patients and their families. She is particularly interested in children with congenital heart disease and non-invasive imaging, with an emphasis in fetal and trans-esophageal echocardiography.
