Dr. Arrillaga, a native of Puerto Rico, earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biochemistry at Brandeis University in Massachusetts. She received her medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico in 1991. She relocated to Miami, Florida, where she trained in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. She was appointed Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at University of Miami between 1994 and 1996. Dr. Arrillaga practiced pediatric cardiology for two years in Louisville, Kentucky, where she was named Gratis Clinic instructor at University of Louisville and then moved back to Miami, where she practiced as an attending pediatric cardiologist at several hospitals.

Dr. Arrillaga joined Pediatric Cardiology Associates in 2006. Her focus is outpatient cardiology and hospital consultations. She is currently board certified in pediatric cardiology. Dr. Arrillaga is the proud mother of two beautiful girls and lives with her family in Tampa.
