Welcome, Kathy Mostajeran, D.O., MPH
Kathy Mostajeran, D.O., MPH, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and fellowship-trained maternal-fetal medicine specialist providing consultation and care for patients with high-risk and complicated pregnancies.
A graduate of Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine with a Master of Public Health from UTHealth Houston, Dr. Mostajeran completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock and her maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine–Phoenix.
Her practice encompasses the full range of medical, obstetric and surgical complications of pregnancy, with particular expertise in placenta accreta spectrum and other placental disorders, advanced obstetric ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis. An active clinical researcher, she has published and presented nationally on placenta accreta spectrum. With a special interest in cardio-obstetrics — the care of pregnant patients with heart disease — she helped establish Phoenix’s first dedicated program in the field.
Dr. Mostajeran is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM), the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) and the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG).
