Dr. Donna Goff joined Pediatrix Cardiology of Houston in January 2022 and currently serves as the Practice Medical Director. She brings substantial fetal and pediatric cardiology expertise. She has dedicated her career to advancing fetal imaging, prenatal management and postnatal management of patients pregnant with a child diagnosed with a complex congenital heart defect (CHD).

Dr. Goff completed her undergraduate studies at Boston College in psychology and psychobiology. After graduating, she went on to pursue a Masters in Science in Sports Medicine at the University of Massachusetts (Amherst). Dr. Donna Goff then completed her Doctor of Medicine with distinction in research at Albany Medical College (Albany, NY). She was the recipient of numerous accolades, including the Dean's Senior Research Award and the Jack Spitalny Prize in Pediatrics.

Dr. Goff completed her residency in pediatrics at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in San Francisco and her fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Perelman School of Medicine at The University of Pennsylvania. She also completed a senior fellowship in echocardiography/fetal echocardiography and a postdoctoral NIH T32 research fellowship from Perelman School of Medicine at The University of Pennsylvania and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

During her time at Perelman School of Medicine, Dr. Goff served as an instructor in pediatrics. Once she completed her senior fellowship, Dr. Goff moved to California and joined the department of pediatrics as assistant professor of pediatrics at Loma Linda University Medical Center and Loma Linda University Children's Hospital.

After working in California for seven years, Dr. Goff made her home in Houston, Texas, as the fetal heart program director in The Fetal Center at UT Health and Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital (CMHH). During her time at CMHH, Dr. Goff played a critical role in the Children's Heart Institute and collaborated with renowned pediatric subspecialists to provide expert and innovative care to patients with congenital or acquired cardiac disease.

Dr. Goff has dedicated her time to mentoring fellow clinicians and colleagues throughout her career. Additionally, she has completed extensive research in her field. She has been cited in multiple abstracts, published in numerous journals and authored many chapters.

Dr. Goff is passionate about using her expertise to serve others through multiple avenues. She has served as a March of Dimes volunteer for the last five years and was a March of Dimes Grant reviewer in California. In addition, she has served on multiple medical missions to Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Goff is excited to work with the team at Pediatrix Cardiology of Houston and partner with patients and their families to create a personalized plan of care to achieve the best possible outcome.
