Brian Kirshon, M.D.

About

Dr. Brian Kirshon began his dedication to and training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine over 30 years ago and is an internationally known MFM Specialist.

He completed his medical training at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. After medical school, Dr. Kirshon moved to the United States. He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency and a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

His clinical and research interests include maternal hypertension, incompetent cervix, abdominal cerclage efficacy and pre-term labor. He is an active member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and is fluent in Afrikaans. Dr. Kirshon sees patients at our office located at 7900 Fannin on The Woman's Hospital of Texas campus and proudly serves the patients and OB/GYNs throughout Greater Houston.
