Pediatrix Critical Care of Georgia

About Our Practice

We understand that the hospitalization of a critically ill or injured child can be stressful for parents, which is why we make it our mission to provide compassionate care for our young patients while offering attentive support to families along the way.

Our team of physicians, pediatric subspecialists, critical care nurses and respiratory therapists are highly trained and partner with family members, primary care physicians and other members of the health care team throughout each step of the process to help achieve the very best outcomes.

 About Our Services

In the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), our physicians treat many conditions, including asthma, respiratory failure, complications of diabetes (including diabetic ketoacidosis), severe infection or complicated post-operative care. We also care for children with special needs, including those who require long-term ventilation.
