About

Sarah Ogle, D.O., M.S., was born and raised in Saint Charles, Illinois. She earned her bachelor’s degree with honors from Northern Illinois University in 2007. She then attended medical school at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, where she was a member of Sigma Sigma Phi Honors, the national osteopathic medicine honors fraternity. She went on to pursue her surgical training at the University of Arizona Phoenix. During residency, Dr. Ogle completed a two-year research fellowship in the translational neurotrauma research program at the University of Arizona and Phoenix Children’s Hospital and obtained her master’s degree in clinical translational science. After completing her residency training, Dr. Ogle continued her surgical training at the University of Colorado and Children’s Hospital Colorado with fellowship training in pediatric bariatric and minimally invasive surgery and pediatric and adult surgical critical care.

Dr. Ogle’s surgical interests include bariatric, trauma/critical care and pediatric surgery. She is board-certified in general surgery and obesity medicine and working towards certification in surgical critical care. Her research interests include adult and pediatric general surgery, trauma/critical care and bariatric surgery. She has authored and co-authored multiple book chapters, peer-reviewed journal articles and presented her work at regional and national conferences. When not caring for patients, Dr. Ogle enjoys exploring the outdoors, photography, traveling, playing with her two German Shephards and spending time with her friends and family.
