About Our Practice

OB Hospitalists of Lafayette, part of Pediatrix^® Medical Group, provides specialized care for obstetric and gynecologic (OBGYN) patients at the Intermountain Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado.

Our board-certified OB hospitalists offer 24/7/365 OBGYN emergency care and care for patients who don’t have an established OBGYN or whose provider is unavailable. Dedicated to delivering quality care specific to each patient’s unique circumstances, common services our OB hospitalists offer include:

• Evaluating patients during triage or in an obstetric emergency department;
• Conducting consultations in the emergency department and inpatient units;
• Responding to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies;
• Assisting during C-sections;
• Providing coverage for private physicians;
• Monitoring laboring patients for primary OBGYNs;
• Interpreting fetal heart rate tests;
• Performing amniotomies (breaking the water) and sonograms.
