Maria Teresa Mella, M.D.

Dr. Mella is an obstetrician-gynecologist who specializes in maternal-fetal medicine. She attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she also completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology through the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Mella obtained a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship from Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, New York. Prior to joining Obstetrix, Dr. Mella was the co-director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Pre-Conception and Pregnancy Planning Clinic at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Board-certified in obstetrics-gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine, Dr. Mella has expertise in high-risk pregnancy complications and has lectured on numerous related topics.
