Dr. Jessie joined MFAMA (now Maternal-Fetal Medicine of the Mid-Atlantic) in 2012 from Los Angeles, Calif. where he completed residency and fellowship. In addition to the management of maternal morbidity complicating pregnancy, he has expertise in prenatal ultrasound, genetic counseling, management of cervical incompetence, and optimal fetal and maternal health through diet and exercise. He has completed research evaluating preterm labor, maternal birth trauma, diabetes in pregnancy, post-partum depression, fetal programming and fetal hypoxia. He has authored and co-authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed publications and textbooks regarding these topics. Dr Jessie has special interest in pre-conceptual maternal health evaluation with targeted dietary/nutritional goals for optimal fetal and maternal health. He has been instrumental in the expansion and establishment of state-of-the-art perinatal centers in the rapidly growing Loudoun and Prince William Counties in Northern Virginia.
Dr. Jessie is a member of the American Medical Association, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and National Medical Association and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also certified by Nuchal Translucency Quality Review Program.
