Our practice offers a range of screening and diagnostic options for expectant parents to assess a baby's risk for chromosomal conditions and inherited genetic disorders. Non-invasive prenatal screening, such as cell-free DNA (cfDNA) testing, analyzes a small sample of the mother's blood to estimate risk. When results indicate an elevated risk, or when family history or ultrasound findings warrant further evaluation, a maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialist may recommend diagnostic testing, such as amniocentesis or chorionic villus sampling, for a more definitive result. Genetic counselors are available throughout the process to help patients understand their options and results.
