Patricia Perez, NNP

Patricia Yvonne Perez is a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner with more than three decades of dedicated experience in neonatal-perinatal medicine. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Baylor University and holds advanced nursing degrees from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and the University of Texas–Pan American. She completed her neonatal nurse practitioner training at West Virginia University.
Ms. Perez has practiced extensively across level I, II and III nurseries and neonatal intensive care units. She provides comprehensive care to newborns ranging from well infants to critically ill neonates. Her clinical expertise includes attending deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, advanced procedures, family education and neonatal transport.
Since 2008, she has been a neonatal nurse practitioner with Pediatrix Medical Group, where she mentors novice NNPs and practices at multiple hospitals. She serves as a regional instructor for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program and a S.T.A.B.L.E. instructor. Patricia Yvonne Perez remains committed to high-quality, family-centered care for newborns and their families in the Rio Grande Valley.
