Maria S. Garza is a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner with dedicated experience in neonatal-perinatal medicine. She has been a nurse since 2005 and has practiced as a neonatal nurse practitioner since 2014. Since becoming an NNP, she has provided advanced care to premature and critically ill newborns in neonatal intensive care settings. She brings a strong clinical background in managing complex conditions and is highly skilled in neonatal resuscitation and critical care procedures.
Maria provides advanced assessment, diagnosis and treatment for high-risk infants while working collaboratively with physicians, nurses and interdisciplinary teams. She is committed to compassionate, family-centered care and supports families through challenging times by fostering a reassuring and informative environment. She is passionate about empowering parents to be active participants in their newborn’s care.
She remains dedicated to ongoing professional development and excellence in neonatal medicine.
