About
Dr. Saeed Javed is a board-certified neonatologist with over 25 years of dedicated experience in neonatal-perinatal medicine. After completing his fellowship at New York University Hospital, he joined Pediatrix Neonatology of Texas in McAllen in 2005. He focuses on respiratory support, with a special interest in managing high-frequency ventilators, particularly high-frequency jet ventilation, and in the care of extremely premature newborns.
Dr. Javed serves as medical director at Edinburg Regional Hospital, where he is actively working to advance the unit from a level I to a level III NICU. He works closely with nurses and staff to support parents in developing the skills and confidence needed to care for their infants after NICU discharge.
In his free time, he enjoys gardening, especially growing rose bushes, and traveling with his family. He also maintains his childhood hobbies of coin and stamp collection. Dr. Saeed Javed remains committed to high-quality, family-centered care for newborns and their families in the Rio Grande Valley.
