Jissel Espinoza is a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner with seven years of dedicated experience in neonatal-perinatal medicine. She provides advanced, evidence-based care to premature and critically ill newborns and is deeply committed to collaborative, family-centered care. She works closely with physicians and parents to support each infant throughout their NICU stay and transition to discharge.

Jissel earned her Master of Science in nursing with a neonatal nurse practitioner specialization from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, following twelve years of dedicated service as a NICU registered nurse. She is especially passionate about supporting young parents as they navigate their new roles, offering reassurance and education.

Outside of her professional role, Jissel enjoys attending baseball games and spending quality time traveling with her children and family. She brings compassion and clinical excellence to every family she serves. Jissel Espinoza remains committed to high-quality, family-centered care for newborns and their families in the Rio Grande Valley.
