About

Becky Barkey received her nursing degree (BSN/RN) from Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1994. During her time working as a nurse, she fell in love with Labor and Delivery and pregnancy-related conditions. She then pursued a master’s degree as a Perinatal Nurse Practitioner (PNNP), and she graduated from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, in 2001.

Becky has worked for Obstetrix Medical Group since 2001, and she is the Lead PNNP for an excellent group of nurse practitioners. Becky currently splits her time working between Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center (PSL) and Sky Ridge Medical Center.

In addition to being a PNNP, Becky has a passion for international medical missions. She has taken several trips to various locations around the world, providing women’s health services and education. Becky also enjoys working with families experiencing loss due to conditions of pregnancy, and she is involved with a perinatal hospice organization called String of Pearls.

Becky also has a special interest in functional medicine concepts and optimizing health by improving nutritional, environmental, and lifestyle factors. She works occasionally for a Functional Medicine/Wellness clinic in the Denver area.

Becky is married to her college sweetheart, and they have two adult daughters. Becky enjoys hiking and spending time in the outdoors of Colorado with her family. You might also catch Becky coaching volleyball, playing frisbee, and going to Bible Study.
