Cecilia Almaguer is a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner with dedicated experience in neonatal-perinatal medicine. She specializes in providing advanced care to critically ill and premature newborns in level III NICUs and level II nursery settings. With a strong foundation in neonatal physiology and evidence-based practice, she is committed to delivering high-quality, family-centered care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Cecilia earned her Master of Science in nursing with a specialization in neonatal care from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She is board-certified as a neonatal nurse practitioner and brings over 23 years of clinical experience managing complex neonatal conditions. She currently practices with Pediatrix Medical Group and Mission Regional Medical Center.

In addition to clinical practice, Cecilia is passionate about patient education, mentoring nursing staff and staying current with advancements in neonatal medicine. She strives to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that supports both the medical and emotional needs of patients and their families. Cecilia Almaguer remains committed to high-quality, family-centered care for newborns and their families in the Rio Grande Valley.
