Tracie Wilder, WHNP

About

Tracie was born and raised in Waterville, Maine. With family roots in Tennessee, she moved to Nashville to attend Lipscomb University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. A special interest in the health and wellness of women led her to pursue a master’s degree in women’s health at the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. During her nursing studies at Vanderbilt, she received the Luther Christman Award for clinical excellence in registered nursing and the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Student of the Year Award. Her passion for serving women experiencing high-risk pregnancies was cultivated during clinical rotations under the preceptorship of Dr. Graves, Dr. Kang and Dr. Collins. She graduated from the Vanderbilt School of Nursing with the highest honors and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society. She is currently a registered nurse and a certified women’s health nurse practitioner with licenses in Tennessee and Kentucky.

At Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists of Tennessee, she provides primary prenatal care and consultative care to women with various diagnoses affecting their pregnancies. Tracie has a special interest in diabetes and thrombophilia. In addition to providing care in the clinical setting, she coordinates research projects at Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists of Tennessee and provides education to hospital staff to enhance their understanding of complex medical conditions affecting pregnancy. Tracie is also NTQR certified.
