Alfred Trappey, M.D.

Dr. Alfred F. Trappey attended Davidson College where he received his Bachelor of Science in chemistry in 2006. He received his medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2010. Dr. Trappey then completed his general surgery residency and a research fellowship in cancer vaccine development here at San Antonio Military Medical Center in 2016.He completed his training with a fellowship in pediatric surgery at University of Texas Houston Children’s Memorial Hermann Medical Center.

Dr. Trappey is board certified in general and pediatric surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has over 30 publications and presentations to his credit.
