Dr. Santiago, board certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine, has been practicing neonatology since 1990. He received his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine in his hometown, Ponce, Puerto Rico, and completed his pediatric residency at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, University Medical Center in Lubbock. He completed his neonatal-perinatal fellowship training at St. Louis University, Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in Missouri. Dr. Santiago volunteered for the March of Dimes (MOD) Health Professional Advisory Committee between 1990 and 1996 and chaired the MOD Health Professional Advisory Committee from 1992 to 1994. He was selected by his peers to be included in Best Doctors in America, Central Region 1996-1997. Dr. Santiago is the NICU Medical Director at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano and currently acts as a volunteer for the March of Dimes Program Services Committee. Dr. Santiago is married with two children. His hobbies include golf and scuba diving.
