Dr. Raval is a clinical maternal-fetal medicine specialist and medical geneticist with expertise in biochemical genetics. As a fellow, Dr. Raval was involved in translational and clinical research investigating biochemical genetic disorders in pregnancy.

Dr. Raval has served on the board of directors for Detect Genomix, a precision medicine company, as well as played an integral role in the development of guidance for genomic testing at Pediatrix. She has been an investigator for a number of translational and clinical research trials and has several peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Raval maintains a passion for high-risk pregnancies, genetics and genomics, and the care of patients and families affected by them.
