Dr. Lyons-Gaffaney is a board-certified physician in general OB/GYN and maternal-fetal medicine. “I have been a maternal-fetal medicine specialist for over 20 years. I love helping women during their pregnancies, which is one of the most special times of their lives,” says Dr. Lyons-Gaffaney. “My goal as a maternal-fetal medicine specialist is to do everything I can to help women achieve the best possible outcomes. Maternal-fetal medicine is a field where we are constantly learning more about both maternal and fetal conditions and thus able to help women with various high-risk conditions to have a successful pregnancy. In addition to diagnosis and treatment, education is important for the patient to better understand their condition. I aim to be very supportive of my patients and to address all of their concerns to the best of my ability.”

Dr. Lyons-Gaffaney is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine, Teratology Society, Organization of Teratology Information Specialists and Dallas Medical Association. She speaks English, Spanish, Swedish, German and Japanese.
