Amy Kayler is both a certified midwife and a certified family nurse practitioner. Amy received a Bachelor of Science in biology at Bates College and a Bachelor of Science in nursing at Johns Hopkins University. She received her Master of Science in nursing/nurse midwifery at Emory University.
Amy has a special interest in the health of teens and young women. While in graduate school, she completed a midwifery fellowship with Holy Family Services in rural south Texas where she provided comprehensive prenatal and postnatal care for indigent Mexican-American women.
