About
Dr. Estin is a third-generation Coloradoan, born and raised along the front range until just before high school, when her family moved to Iowa City, IA. She managed to return to the state to complete an M.D./Ph.D. at the University of Colorado (with a Ph.D. in immunology) and is thrilled to be home again after completing her residency and MFM fellowship training at Duke University.
Dr. Estin is especially looking forward to sharing her favorite things about the state with her son and discovering new favorites, too. Outside work, she likes to read fiction, to enjoy lazy breakfasts on the porch at the Chautauqua dining hall, and to escape to her favorite spots around the Indian Peaks wilderness area. After a trip to Oaxaca, Mexico, last year, she has been entertaining herself by plotting more toddler-friendly travel adventures around the country and the world.
