Julie De Jesus-Hernandez is a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner with dedicated experience in neonatal-perinatal medicine. Since beginning her nursing career in 2009, she has been committed to delivering high-quality, family-centered care to premature and critically ill newborns. She earned her Master of Science in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2022, strengthening her expertise in evidence-based neonatal practice.
Throughout her career spanning over a decade, Julie has developed extensive experience caring for critically ill and premature infants. She works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and is known for her calm, attentive approach and strong clinical judgment.
Outside of professional responsibilities, Julie values time with family as a spouse and parent to two children and two four-legged children. She enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling—activities that provide balance and renewal. Julie De Jesus-Hernandez remains committed to high-quality, family-centered care for newborns and their families in the Rio Grande Valley.
