About

Ashley Chapman, NNP, is a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner. She received her Associate of Science in Nursing from St. John’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Springfield, Illinois. She began working as a bedside nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) shortly after graduating and served as a neonatal transport nurse while completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing through an accelerated program at Cox College in Springfield, Missouri. Ashley earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has worked in the same NICU since starting her nursing career in 2005, only changing roles as her career advanced. She is the lead NNP for Pediatrix® Neonatology of Missouri.

In her role, Ashley strives to bring a smile to the faces of each family she encounters. She enjoys getting to know the families and caring for them throughout their child’s NICU stay. She advocates for her tiny patients and begins working toward discharge from the moment each baby is admitted.

Ashley lives in Ozark, Missouri, with her husband, son, daughter, two dogs and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, shopping and spending time with friends and family.
