Dr. Benavides, board certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine, completed medical school at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. She completed her pediatric residency with the Austin Medical Education Program in Texas and her neonatal-perinatal fellowship at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston.
Dr. Benavides is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Texas Pediatric Society, Bexar County Medical Society, Harris County Medical Society and Travis County Medical Society.
