About

Amanda Robin Bell is a highly accomplished certified nurse midwife (CNM) and nurse practitioner (NP) with an extensive background in nursing and women's health. Her educational journey began at Motlow State Community College in Tullahoma, TN, where she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing in May 1999. This foundational training equipped her with essential nursing skills and knowledge that would serve as the bedrock for her future endeavors in health care.

Building on this foundation, Robin pursued further education at the University of Phoenix, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in August 2006. This degree allowed her to expand her understanding of nursing practices and prepare for advanced roles within the health care system.

Recognizing her passion for maternal and women's health, Robin continued her education at the University of Cincinnati. She completed a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program with a specialization as a certified nurse midwife in August 2008. Shortly thereafter, she also earned a Post-Masters Certificate as a women's health nurse practitioner from the same institution in December 2008. These advanced degrees positioned Robin as an expert in midwifery and women's health care.

Robin's professional career spans over two decades, during which she has held various positions that highlight her dedication to maternal-fetal medicine and women's health. She began her career as a registered nurse at River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN, where she worked from October 1999 until November 2008. During this time, she honed her skills in learning all aspects of the surgery department, along with labor and delivery.

In November 2008, Robin transitioned into midwifery practice at Dr. Delvalle, an OBGYN in McMinnville, for one year, then continued for another year with Women's Health Services/Infinity Birth Center in Cookeville, TN. These two years were spent developing expertise in managing pregnancies and supporting women through childbirth experiences.

Following this role, Robin joined OBGYN Associates as a certified nurse midwife from June 2011 to August 2018, before moving back to McMinnville to work at Namaste OBGYN from August 2018 to November 2022. In these roles, she provided comprehensive prenatal care, assisted with labor and delivery processes, and offered postpartum support to new mothers.

In addition to these positions, Robin has been recognized for her commitment to advancing maternal-fetal medicine by joining Tennessee Maternal Fetal Medicine, PLC (now Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists of Tennessee) in December 2022. This role allows her to collaborate with other health care professionals dedicated to improving outcomes for high-risk pregnancies.

Robin is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board as a certified nurse midwife (CNM), demonstrating her proficiency and commitment to maintaining high standards within the field of midwifery. Her multistate registered nurse license further underscores her ability to provide care across state lines. Throughout her career, Robin has remained dedicated not only to patient care but also to ongoing professional development within nursing and midwifery practices.
