Cesar Barada, M.D.

About

Dr. Cesar Barada was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and graduated from the University of Puerto Rico in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree in science. He obtained his medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in 1989. His 1993 obstetrics and gynecology residency was at Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens, and he completed his maternal-fetal medicine fellowship training at the University of New Mexico Health Science Center in 1995.

Dr. Barada has more than 30 years of clinical experience in maternal-fetal medicine with special interests in medical complications of pregnancy, diabetes and hypertension in pregnancy. He is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a regular member of the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Barada joined Pediatrix Medical Group in February 2023. He began providing care at Maternal-Fetal Medicine of Southwest Florida, part of Pediatrix Medical Group, in November 2025 and currently serves as the practice medical director.

Dr. Barada and his wife reside in Estero, Florida. He has three adult children and one granddaughter. In his free time, he enjoys golf, traveling and spending time with his family.
